Who are we?

The Monopol Sports Club was founded in 1928. It was dedicated to neighborhood football and during the first years it played in the field of the Barcanova.

After the end of the Civil War, it was refounded in 1943. It opened a football school in 1983 and two years later created the futsal and table tennis sections. These sections eventually disappeared, but later created the fishing section.

It has a football team that plays in Catalan territorial divisions and teams in lower categories. It makes use of the municipal soccer field Agapito Fernandez.

The Rambla venue was the meeting place for the team, but now the venue serves as a neighborhood social club where different leisure activities are held for young and old.
